A survey of the 40 attendees at the last reunion resulted in only 19 planning on attending. Nine shipmates from the last reunion could not be located. CAIMAN has a few problems; low attendance, depleted funds, and shipmates that do not stay in touch. We discovered recently that both the hotel and the Grand Ole Opry wanted full payment upfront well before the reunion. That was not possible. If you have reserved rooms, you may have received an email that it has been cancelled. If not, you need to call the Inn at Opryland and cancel your reservation.

We may have a reunion after all. Smitty and Dings have worked hard to get a good deal from a hotel and casino in Laughlin, NV for April 27-30 2026. We need a minimum of 30 shipmates to attend to make this possible. We need to hear from you as soon as possible if you will attend. An email went out with this information along with the Newsletter. PLEASE respond to that email that you will positively attend.
