The reunion in Nashville was cancelled. A survey of the 40 attendees at the last reunion resulted in only 19 planning on attending. Nine shipmates from the last reunion could not be located. CAIMAN has a few problems; low attendance, depleted funds, and shipmates that do not stay in touch. We discovered recently that both the hotel and the Grand Ole Opry wanted full payment upfront well before the reunion. That was not possible. If you have reserved rooms, you may have received an email that it has been cancelled. If not, you need to call the Inn at Opryland and cancel your reservation.
